Separate from usual fashion, enterprising Highborn have special attire for productive business discussions. While the fashion at top is the same, at the waist, Ishgardians prefer their form-factors as either a bustle (a special padding added to the back of extra-long skirts) or as a justaucorps (a kind of knee-coat!)

- How could one be yours? Any shop that sells plushies should stock a plush carbuncle for any budget! If all you need is a best friend, seek out the one you can afford. But if you want your new best friend made specially by hand, packed full with love, and fit to burst with devotion to keeping you safe through thick and thin? There's nothing you could settle for less than a special, custom-stitched Carbie made just to your needs!Starting from the basics, you'll pick and choose every piece of your new best friend's specifications. You can pick your favourite colours for your carbuncle, choosing from one of many different stones to base your best friend on. The most common choices are the classic three: ruby, emerald, and topaz! Red, teal, and yellow! But don't stop there, any colourful gem could make for a wonderful Carbuncle, you just have to imagine it!From there, you'll need to pick your size. Normal Carbies are made out of felt and stuffed with cotton. They're crammed absolutely packed with the stuff, giving them their proud, upright stance! I do just the same, filling them with the finest cloud cotton bolls harvested from the Diadem, treated for purity, and shredded up and stuffed inside. Depending on whether you want a FIRM Carbie or a FLOPPY Carbie, you decide how much stuffing they get. Will they be a proud and noble guardian? Or a lazy, lounging layabout? It's your best friend, you get to choose!

Your choice of fabric is important, as it'll help decide the care schedule for your new best friend. I offer:

▍ ❝   PARASOLS.A former staple of Ishgardian high society and a now-common sight among Highborn and Lowborn alike, parasols have always been crucial to life in Coerthas. Being nestled next to mountains means lots and lots of heavy weather, with rain being super common before the eternal winter started. The quintessential Ishgardian tea! Years and years ago, way before even the Calamity happened, Ishgard only drank normal black tea imported from the East. Then a now-forgotten farmer who grew bergamot oranges in the Highlands decided to mix dried orange rind into his blend. Interest only grew, and now this fusion of Eastern and Ishgardian culture is famous everywhere!
- Ishgardian Green, 450 gil/quarter ponze
A very, very new blend that's making its way into Highborn society! Like Ishgardian Black, this combines the oil of bergamot oranges with Kugane green tea, lending a completely unique flavour profile you've never tried!
- Haillenarte Rose, 1,500 gil/sachet
The iconic Driancoin rose, emblematic of House Haillenarte, no longer grows in Coerthan soil. Gridanian botanists have saved this species from extinction, and a very select few grown are deemed unfit for presentation. Those roses find new life in this naturally sweet and incredibly rare herbal blend.
